Review: Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner

Evening Ladies,

I;m sure many of you know in 2014 Benefit came out with a eyeliner called They're Real Push Up Liner. It is a gel liner in a pen with a felt tip, quiet a strange combination, I know!

When I first seen this I didn't think much of it, I read some reviews and still I didn't feel the need to rush out and buy it, Then one day I was in Debenhams repurchasing my Benefits They're Real Mascara and the woman told me I could get a free sample size of the Push Up Liner, I thought great as this would give me a chance to try it out without buying the full size.

Later that night as I was about to take off my make-up I decided to give the liner a shot! At first it took me forever to actually get the product to come out of the tube, I was twisting for ages!!
When it finally came out I tried it out on my hand first, I loved the shape of the felt tip, it makes for an pretty easy application. The liner itself went on extremely creamy, it was like applying gel with a brush except easier. It was the blackest of black colour and it dried to sort of a matte look.

One thing I dislike about this product is its staying power, normally that wouldn't be a thing to complain about this damn its like this product never want to come off. I have to use a ton of eye make-up remover and my Garnier Micellar Water to remove it. Benefit do sell They're Real Eye Make-up Remover but I cannot use it as it burns my eyes!

The packaging is incredibly sleek and I love how easy it is to hold, the lid is a twist-able so no fear of it falling off and drying out.

Overall:

I do like this product, I have gotten the full size since using up the sample size, which lasted me three weeks. I do think it would be the perfect liner to use on clients if you are a make-up artist as it really gives you all the control you need to apply a perfect wing!

Thank you so much for reading,

  1. Honestly i really dont like this eyeliner. I think the head of the liner is to thick and you have to make the liner from small motions. But is just my opinion and btw love the yankee candle you have there <3
