Growing Up Too Soon??
Hello loves,

Bit of a different post today, a few days ago I was having a chat with my boyfriend when he mentioned something that made me think, in his exact words he said "You've taken on so much responsibility in the last year" and the more I thought about it the more I realised that he was completely right, I had.

Early last June we went on holiday to Amsterdam, when we got home I moved out within the space of about 2 - 3 weeks, I started a new job about a month later in July, at the end of July I got two kittens, Tigger & Belle, started my second year in college in my computer course and  I also got a car, fast forward a few months later and I got a puppy called Molly. Bare in mind that I only turned 21 in October so a lot of those big changes happened when I was just 20 years old!!

I've mentioned to my parents a few times how I'm sometimes so jealous of people that have the money to just go out party at the drop of a hat or go on holidays to all these wonderful places while I'm stuck at home minding my 3 fur babies, but the more I think about it I've done so much at such a young age, yes I have bills to pay, car to fix, pets to look after but I'm glad that I've started this so young because it's opened my eyes to what the big bad world holds!

So the moral of this post is to basically explain to you guys that yes growing up is freaking scary and there are some days that I wish I could just drop all my responsibilities and move home but then other days are amazing, waking up in my own house and coming down stairs to see my fur babies all excited to see me, it makes it all worth it.

If you're scared to take the plunge I say go for it, I was shitting it when all of this came at me at once but it was all my choice and I knew it was going to be a lot of responsibility which I was ready to take on.

Move out, buy that car, take a new college course, find a new job, get you some fur babies, DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!! At the end of the day it's all about what makes you happy.

Also don't worry, even with the responsibility of growing up you don't need to get completely go of your wild / child side. I still enjoy to go out with my friends every now and then, I like going to the cinema, or just planning a silly afternoon with my other half, being an adult isn't always about seriousness, there are still fun times too!

So whether your 18, 24, or 40, growing up has nothing to do with age, it has to do with maturity and how you handle the difficult situations thrown at you.

A couple of years ago I never took care of my skin, a little bit of moisturiser once a day and I was good to go. Now I feel like my bathroom is over flowing with different types of products – masks, moisturisers, eye creams, etc.
I wanted to share with you my Top 5 Current Skincare Products, these products get me through some cold, dry, crazy skin days. ( You know how it is). 
Hydration is the number one key factor in keeping your skin looking and feeling fresh in the winter. The cold weather has such an abrasive effect on your skin, so it’s important to keep it in tip top shape.

1. I start off my skincare routine with Cliniques 7 Day Scrub Cream, this product is great for removing any dry skin. I generally only use this product at night time, as it can be a little too harsh on my skin to use twice a day.



2.  Depending on how my skin is feeling, I will use this Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque on my T-Zone area as that is where I tend to get the most oily / blackheads and this mask is great for pulling any impurities to the surface and making my skin look great again.



3. If my skin is feeling dry or looking a little dull I will use this No7 Hydration Mask from Boots. 
This is fantastic if you have dry skin as it gives you a boost of hydration to make your skin feel soft again! Sometimes I like to leave this on over night and wash it off in the morning to really feel the effects from it.



4. If you had asked me about 2 years ago what eye cream I used I probably would have laughed at you, I never used any up until a few months ago really. I first picked up this Garnier Miracle one in Boots, this one is great for the morning when you're getting ready to put on make-up as once it's starts to dry it gives a tinted 'foundation' like colour on your skin. 
At night time I use the Dermalogica Age Reversal Eye Complex cream, when I apply this to my under eyes it's like giving them a big class of water, they instantly feel replenished and not dry and sore like they sometimes do at the end of a long day.



5. Lastly I finish off my routine with my FAVOURITE moisturiser ever! The Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel has done wonders for my skin since I've been using it the past year and a half. I didn't know how much of an effect a good moisture could have on your skin until I bought this, it leave you glowing and hydrated for hours and hours!

A few months ago I ordered some Cute Nutrition products, based off Sarah Ashcrofts recommendations, I've been trying and testing them out the last couple of months and I wanted to tell you how I've found them to be
So the bundle that I got was if I remember correctly called their summer bundle, which include Strawberry/Chocolate/Vanilla Meal Replacement Shake, Dandelion Root supplement, CLA supplement and a adorable shaker. The summer bundle is still available on their website
Despite its name, I don't use the meal replacement shake as a meal replacer, I'm the type of person who needs my breakfast, lunch and dinner each day to stay sane. So I use the shake in between meals,  usually in between breakfast and lunch as there can sometimes be 5-6 hour gap between meals. 
I take one scoop of the shake and then fill the shake up about half way with almond milk, I've tried other milks and water but I find almond the best.
I then take 2 dandelion root tablets a day, one at breakfast and one at dinner time. Dandelion root are known for helping reduce water weight, commonly used in detox regimes to protect the liver against alcohol and drugs as well as water retention.



I take one CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) supplement a day at breakfast, CLA is a fatty acid derived from safflower oil. It is known to induce fat loss therefore helping with weight management and increase your metabolic rate. 

Overall I haven't noticed a huge difference in my weight, but I wasn't expecting too. I have noticed that I don't get sweet cravings as much as I did and I don't feel as bloated anymore. The shake will keep me full for about 2-3 hours so it's doing what it needs to, however as I said I don't use it to replace a meal so I don't know how well it works in that sense.

I will keep using them for another few months and update you guys again to see if it makes any differences
