Review: M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid Foundation

Hey girlies!
I'm going to be doing a review on my M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid Foundation as you've probably guessed by the title... (blonde moment..).
First off, I adore the smell of this foundation, it smells like paint and I'm one of those very few people who actually like that smell. But anyways, having spent €36.00 on this I expected it to be flawless on my face but actually it was the opposite.

I really wanted to love this product, the texture of it is great and it applies nice and smoothly. It gave me medium coverage most of the time which is what I was aiming for when I purchased it. My one and only problem with this is that once I applied it onto my face it immediately dried out my skin and left me looking blotchy and dry. My skin is pretty dry anyway so this product didn't really benefit me in anyway. Even when I applied a ton of moisturiser beforehand I would still end up with the same result.

I have to admit I'm pretty bummed about this because it overall seemed like a great product so I've decided to still get my moneys worth out of it by mixing it with M.A.C  Mineralize Moisture Foundation.

I feel like this combination really works together because M.A.C Mineralize was made for people with dry skin so it leaves my face feeling moisturised with super coverage!

Overall I would recommend this foundation if you don't have dry skin! And if you do and you're willing to spend an extra €2 I suggest you get the M.A.C Mineralize Moisture Foundation.

Thanks for reading, let me know what you think if you have tried out either of these foundations! Louise xo.
