Christmas Gift Guide For Him & Her!!

20:55 2
Christmas Gift Guide For Him & Her!!
So, its that time of year again, when everyone is in a mad rush to get all there presents and making lists of what to get people. Here I have made a list of a few items I think might make good gifts and some which I will be buying for people! Hope this was in some way helpful.

For Her (You're Mom, Girlfriend, Sister, Friend, Grandma)
- Perfume, you can never go wrong with a nice smelling perfume!
- Make-up set, if their anything like me they're hoping to receive this for Christmas!
- A robe, because doesn't everyone love to be comfy?
- A bath set, this and the robe go hand in hand. Girls love to be comfy after a nice long bath!
- A watch, it doesn't have to be super expensive but a nice watch makes a great present.

For Him (Your Dad, Boyfriend, Brother, Sister, Grandfather)
- Cologne, men seem to always receive this at Christmas and lets face it they need it (hehe just kidding)!!
- A jumper/hoodie, men like to keep warm too and there's nothing better than buying a hoodie that you can later steal ;) Always think ahead ladies!
- A console game, this is usually what I buy my boyfriend and he seems fairly chuffed with it although I don't hear from him for hours on end after it he gets it!
- Candy / Chocolate, this is definitely one thing I will be buying my fella!!

Hope you're all having a wonderful time buying gifts and preparing for Christmas!

Tips on Staying Organised

15:59 3
Tips on Staying Organised
So we all have those days where we take one look round our homes/bedroom and just want to start crying because we can't find that white shirt that we had three weeks ago and all of your make-up is scattered all over your floor....

Here are some tips that will help you stay organized on a day to day basis:

1.Clean as you go - this will save you so much time in the long run. If you pick something up, put it back where it belongs.

2.Make a to do list the night before - this will help you keep on track with everything you need to do the next day.

3. Spend 15-20 minutes tidying each day - it will cut down the amount of work you need to do at the end of the week.

4. Put your dirty clothes into a washing hamper

5. Wash the dishes after you use them and don't leave them in the sink - it makes the place looks really messy.

6. Have a place for everything and put everything back in its place

7. Playing music while cleaning will keep you motivated - Plus dancing is a form of exercise so why not make cleaning fun ;)

8. Take it one step at a time and don't try to clean the entire house in one day or week for that matter!

9. Spend 30 minutes a day organizing your emails- delete the ones you don't need and reply to the ones which need replying.

10. Clean as you go- if you see something messy, clean real quick it won't take all day.

Thank you so much for reading!  Be sure to check out my links down below...

Review: Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Cream Foundation

21:53 3
Review: Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Cream Foundation
Hello my loves!
I know, I know it has been forever since I've posted. I took a little time off from blogging and YouTube to focus on myself  but now that summer is over and I'm finished college I will be blogging full time! (Yaaaay)

So todays post is going to be on a product that I have a love hate relationship with. I love it but it hates me.
It is the  Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Cream Foundation in the color Medium Beige. I purchased this product because my sister used it, I tried her one and I loved it instantly! I loved the coverage it gave me, full coverage, and I loved how it lasted all night long! I usually wear this going out at night as it is a little darker than my natural skin tone so it works well when I'm tan

The only problem is I am guaranteed to wake up with random spots on my face, for some reason it hates me. And they take forever to heal, they're really red and swollen at first, also extremely sore to touch. Now I have to admit I don't do a full facial cleanse after a night out but I do use a face wipe to take off my make-up. I do have quite dry skin but it is never usually this easily irritated. Whatever is in this product just makes my skin go crazy for days.

Have you tried this product? If so what do you think of it and did you have any problems?

I don't know why this hates me so much so for now I will just have to be on the look out for a new going out foundation. If you have a favorite one feel free to leave it in the comments below! :)

Thank you so much for reading!  Be sure to check out my links down below...

Blog Blabber #3 - Positivity.

22:04 2
Blog Blabber #3 - Positivity.

Hello lovelies,
So recently I've been feel quite crappy if I'm being honest. I didn't want to get out of bed most days, I had no motivation to write any posts or film any videos. I would just lay in bed watching The Vampire Diaries, which is 100% okay but just not all day everyday. This also explains the lack of posts.

I realized I need to get out of this slump but I just wasn't sure how. At first I thought it might be, yanno *whispers* women problems,*whispers* but it wasn't.
I started reading blog posts about how to keep motivated, they were all really great but I still didn't feel like they helped me very much.

I've come to notice when you're feeling down, no matter what you read, watch or hear from other people the only thing that can pull you out of the slump is your own mind.

YOU'RE the only person who can make you truly happy. You have to rely 100% on yourself to pick yourself up. Relying on others will do you no good, I'm speaking from experience here.

I have noticed in the past couple of weeks that when you think happy and positive you will feel happy and positive. If you're having a crappy day, go get some tea/coffee, go to a quiet place and just think about everything you have to be grateful for, think about everything you have going for you in your life and remember to just breathe. Sometimes a few little deep breaths is all we need to snap us back into reality.

Go take a long walk, go to the park, read a book, have a pamper session, just make sure you're spending time with yourself doing something you love to do.
Sometimes we don't realize how hard we're pushing ourselves or how negative we're being. No one likes a negative Nancy right?

So the next time you're feel down and crappy, stop, take some time for yourself and just breathe. Because no matter how hard the situation, everything always works out in the end as as long as you keep POSITIVE & SMILE!!

Lovin' Lippes #1 : MAC Pink Pearl Pop

18:41 4
Lovin' Lippes #1 : MAC Pink Pearl Pop
Good evening lovelies!
Here is a quick little post on a new lipstick I discovered by MAC and figured I would share it with you.

I was in duty free in Palma Airport, Mallorca and I noticed they had a MAC stand. I got extremely excited and dragged my friend over to it! (Who wouldn't right?)
I had some money left over from my holidays so I figured I would buy a new lipstick for summer.
Usually I'm a nude girl all year round but I found this perfect bright pink color and just fell instantly in love.

I am unsure of when this lipstick came out. It is from the cremesheen collection and is a girly baby pink color. It is a warm toned color so it won't leave you looking washed out,  its not too bright either so it won't stand out too much on your lips.

It has a pretty sheer application when first applied but you can build up the coverage to what suits you. As it is a cremesheen it has a shiny, lip-gloss like finish to it which leaves your lips feeling moisturized. I do have to touch it up every 2-3 hours though which is a little bummer. I've been wearing this lipstick for the last couple of days and I'm loving it. It looks to summery on my lips.
It retails for €19 and is in my opinion totally worth the money!

The Summer Tag

12:44 0
The Summer Tag

I found this tag on Makeupsavvy.co.uk and thought it would be a bit of fun to do. If you answer these questions be sure to let me know in the comments so I can read your answers!

1. What's your favorite thing about Summer?
Most people would say the weather but I live in Ireland so it usually rains all year round, So I would have to say the freedom. Not having school/college and just beng able to sleep longer in the mornings is wonderful. Also being able to make plans with friends makes me happy.

2. Do you have a favorite Summer drink?
Not particularly, I usually just drink a lot of water all year round. I do like the occasional smoothing though.

3.  Is there a location you like to go to each Summer?
I usually go to Spain for a week or two in summer but we never go to the same location as the year before.

4. Favorite make-up look for summer?
Something light and simple. I'm not into full coverage make-up in the summer. A simple BB cream, mascara and lipstick and I'm happy.

5. Dresses or skirts?
I was never really into either of them up until this year so now I would have to say flowy summer dresses.

6. Sandles or ballet pumps?
Sandles all the way. I find them so comfortable and they can be dressed up or down.

7. Do you prefer to wear your hair up or down in Summer?
Down most days unless it's incredibly hot out, then I will do a messy bun or a side braid.

8. Deep smokey eye or bold lips?
Ooh this is a tricky one. I love them both but for summer I would have to say a bold lip with a simple eye look.

9. Favorite perfumes for Summer?
Anything fruity just makes me so happy. I'm on the hunt for a new perfume so if you have any recommendations feel free to comment below!

10. Favoite music for Summer?
Country music, I love it all year round. It puts me in such a chirpy mood and just brightens my day!

I hope you enjoyed my answers to this tag. Should you do this tag let me know in the comments below. <3 font="" nbsp="">

Review - W7 Chunky Lips Lip Crayon

17:23 3
Review - W7 Chunky Lips Lip Crayon
Good evening lovelies,
I mentioned on Twitter that I would be unable to upload a video today as I'm feeling unwell so I decided to do a blog post instead!

So I discovered the W7 brand a couple of months ago in a new Pharmacy that just opened. As soon as I looked at their products I knew that some were going to be dupes for high end brands.
I discovered these lip crayons that I thought might be interesting to use!

I picked up two colors, Glamorous the pale pink color and Sultry the dark pink color. If you have the brand W7 near you I would definitely recommend picking them up asap! They're so creamy, pigmented and the last forever! I wore the Sultry color out clubbing one night and I didn't have to top it up once, it lasted all night!!

I don't use a gloss over them either because I find that they are creamy enough to create their own sheen on your lips!

Glamorous                                                                                         Sultry

They retail for €2.00 which is definitely a bargain!! I'm going to go pick up every other color.... hehe.
You can purchase from selected stores listed here.

5 Workout's To Tone That Tush

09:32 1
5 Workout's To Tone That Tush
Hey lovelies,
Yay, my first ever fitness post!! Let me know what you think :)
So I've decided to stop being a lazy hole and start exercising daily! My first priority is my booty, so here are 5 easy workouts that I will be using to tone my tush!

1. SQUATS!! - Girl if you want a cute booty you have got to work for it! And I would 100% recommend squats.. Does every booty blog you read mention squats? Yes? Because there the best workout for a round booty. They work your glutes and your hamstrings! Feet should be flat on the ground, shoulder width apart, back straight and toes pointed slightly out. Lower your body down, as if you're sitting into a chair until your thighs are parallel to the ground. But make sure you knees DO NOT pass over your toes. Rise back up slowly and repeat.

2. Hip Lifts - These are super easily but super effective! You basically just lie on the floor with your hands by your side pressed to the ground, knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Lift your hips to the ceiling, hold and release back down. Remember to clench your butt when lifting upwards.

3. Clamshell -  Lie on your side, bend you knees 45 degrees. Legs should be on top of one another and heels together. Raise your knee as high as you can without moving your pelvis or ankles. The return to the starting position.

4. Toe Tap - Again sounds easy but it really works! Lie on the floor with you hands pressed into the ground and knees bent so your thighs are perpendicular to the floor. Now slowly tap your foot to the floor and change foot.

5. Plies - These are similar to squats. Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart and your toes pointing out. Bring your arms out straight in front of you and lower into a squat, rise back up and repeat. Go as low as you can without letting your knees pass your toes, contact your glutes when lowering.

I AM NOT A FITNESS EXPERT!! These are just workouts that I like to do and that I find help me out.

Hope this helped somehow!

LC's Tips & Tricks #1 - 10 Beauty Uses for Vaseline

15:20 2
LC's Tips & Tricks #1 - 10 Beauty Uses for Vaseline

We all have a tub of Vaseline lying around our house somewhere, for some reason. But what do you actually use it for? Is it just sitting there collecting dust? I have found 15 little beauty uses for Vaseline that might come in handy some day!

1. Tame Flyaways - Ever attempt to get that perfect sleeked back ponytail but those little baby hairs just won't co-operate? Apply a tiny little bit of Vaseline to your hair and it will hold all day.

2. Hair dye stains - If you dye your hair at home yourself but are prone to dying your forehead more than your hair. Apply some Vaseline on your forehead and hair line to prevent the dye from developing on your skin.

3. Prevent uneven tan - apply it to dry areas to prevent tan from being blotchy and uneven.

4.Eyelash glue - Apply it to the glue and easily wipe it away with a cotton pad

5. Prevent small cuts from bleeding - We have all cut yourselves from shaving but as a lot of people already know using Vaseline on the area will prevent the cut from bleeding and ruining your outfit!

6.Cuticles - When doing a home manicure, if you don't have any cuticle cream use Vaseline to soften cuticles.

7. Tweezing - Use it on your eyebrows to allow easier removal.

8. Powder to cream - Mix it with your powder eye shadows or blush to create a cream product.

9. Chapped lips - Can't find your lip balm? Apply some Vaseline to your lips to restore moisture and give you kissable lips again.

10. Nail Polish Caps - Stop the cap to your nail polish from stick together by applying some Vaseline to the nail when closing it.

Lots of love,
                   Louise. xo
