Internet Hate!!

Internet Hate!!
Evening everyone,

It's Monday again, which means new post..
For this post I feel like straying from the beauty side of things and sort of going off on a little rant, I hope you don't mind.

So I read a lot of blog posts and watch a lot of videos and lately I've been noticing the amount of hate that comes with being 'internet famous'. It's ridiculous how women feel the need to tear each other down just to make themselves feel better, we should be empowering one another and working together as a team. (To take the world over from guys, duh)
I'm not going to sit here and lie to you saying that I don't talk bad about other women because I do and there is only one reason why I do it, JEALOUSY!!

Jealousy has become such an awful thing recently, we all feel like we have to be better than someone else and have better things than they do. Even best friends are starting to do this to one another and it needs to stop..
We should support one another instead of tear each other down!

What are you're feelings/opinions on internet hate recently? Do you see it increasing daily? Do you get any hate? If so, how do you respond?

I know this was a random post but I just wanted to put it out there how much hate I have noticed recently, not towards me but towards other people!

Thank you so much for reading,

                                                -xo, Louise.

Review: Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner

Review: Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner
Evening Ladies,

I;m sure many of you know in 2014 Benefit came out with a eyeliner called They're Real Push Up Liner. It is a gel liner in a pen with a felt tip, quiet a strange combination, I know!

When I first seen this I didn't think much of it, I read some reviews and still I didn't feel the need to rush out and buy it, Then one day I was in Debenhams repurchasing my Benefits They're Real Mascara and the woman told me I could get a free sample size of the Push Up Liner, I thought great as this would give me a chance to try it out without buying the full size.

Later that night as I was about to take off my make-up I decided to give the liner a shot! At first it took me forever to actually get the product to come out of the tube, I was twisting for ages!!
When it finally came out I tried it out on my hand first, I loved the shape of the felt tip, it makes for an pretty easy application. The liner itself went on extremely creamy, it was like applying gel with a brush except easier. It was the blackest of black colour and it dried to sort of a matte look.

How Do You Stay Motivated?

How Do You Stay Motivated?
Hey dolls,

So since Christmas I've been finding it very hard to do anything that involves getting out of bed and pressing pause on Netflix. (damn you PLL)

I just wanted to write a short post to find out what YOU do to keep yourself motivated and I don't just mean motivated to work out, I mean motivated to do whatever your hobby is.

For me its blogging and posting videos on YouTube but lately I just can't seem to find the energy to actually do those things, I don't think I'm losing interest in them I think I have just gotten extremely lazy since I finished work and I need to snap out of it!!

Have you any tips? What motivates you? I would love to know!

Love, Louise.

Goals for 2015 ❤

Goals for 2015 ❤
Recently I have read quite a few of these type of posts and considered doing one myself so here it is. I feel like if I make my goals public it might make me want to achieve them ever more and not give up!

1. Read more books: I never read books usually, I was never that type of child who would sit down and read Harry Potter or Jacqueline Wilson's newest release. So I'm going to make it my goal for this year to read more books, at least 12.

2. Work on my photography: I love the art of photography and considering I'm a blogger it might be a good idea that I start to practice mine. I never really given photography on my blog much thought until about two weeks ago when I was scrolling through other blogs and seen how amazing some of the pictures were!

3. Work on my Health & Fitness: Throughout the whole year for 2014 I only wrote one fitness post, ONE!! I hope to really change that in the coming year and focus a little bit more on my body and my health.

4. Say YES more: I'm definitely a lazy person when it comes to leaving my house and actually doing things, whenever my friends invite me out I usually say no because I'm usually tucked up in my bed with my PJs and Netflix....

5. See more places: I want to travel more, we're booking a holiday to Amsterdam for March but I want to go some many more places, I hope to visit at least three countries before the year end. I would love to visit more but my budget won't allow it!

What are your goals for 2015?
I'd love to hear about them!

Thank you so much for reading,

                                                -xo, Louise.

Lovin' Lippies #2: MAC Twig

Lovin' Lippies #2: MAC Twig
Evening ladies,

About three weeks ago I went on the hunt for a new lip liner, little did I know I would be leaving Brown Thomas with a lip liner and two new lipsticks by MAC. Ok, maybe I knew a little.

One of those lipsticks was Twig a dark nude stain lippie. It is a muted pinky brown colour which at first I didn't think would suit me as I have really pale Irish skin... BUT I love it on me. I pair it with Soar lip liner and it just looks amazing, it is a dark nude so its perfect if you're going for the Kylie Jenner look.

Like the majority of MAC lipsticks that I have tried it has great staying power, it lasts up to 3 hours straight without touch up giving that you don't eat quite a bit.

I love this lipstick when it looks matte so I sometimes apply a mattifying powder on my lips and it looks absolutely gorgeous!!

It retails for €19.50 in Brown Thomas stores in Ireland. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a dark nude!

Hope you're all having a wonderful start to 2015! xx

Thank you so much for reading, leave a comment telling me your favorite MAC lipstick!

Review: L'Oreal Skin Perfection VelvetyToner

14:05 0
Review: L'Oreal Skin Perfection VelvetyToner

This toner is suitable for sensitive skin. It is very thick in texture nothing like I have ever felt in a toner before, At first I wasn't sure if I would like it as the texture felt too strange to me but I feel because it is so thick that it really sinks into your skin and helps hydrate it quite a bit.

It claims to remove impurities and reveal toned and silky-smooth skin. I haven't yet used this toner while breaking out so I'm unsure how it will react to my skin then. It also claims to remove make-up although I haven't used it for the purpose, I prefer to use a micellar water. eg, the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.

I definitely agree with it leaving your skin feel silky smooth, most toners tend to dry out my skin and make it feel tight whereas this one makes it feel hydrated and soft.

It comes in a 200ml bottle and retails for about €5.99 in most pharmacies/drugstores.

Overall I would 100% recommend this toner, its has worked fantastic for me so far and I hope it continues to do so.

If you have used this product, let me know what you think of it down below :)
